In service, I would probably give this device 4 or even 5 stars, but the installation was a matter of great frustration. I tried every way to get either a Wireless N or a wireless G adapter to talk to the Router, but with no success. The actual supplier tried to be helpful, and went to a good deal of effort to come up with an answer but to no effect. Finally I brought in a local consultant who spent about half an hour on the net before discovering that the firmware was defective and had to be reloaded. Once that was done, the router worked well in XP and VISTA (required an updated Wireless N driver). In Linux, I have had to fall back on a Hawking HWUG1 Wireless device, because the built-in Wireless N adapter is from Broadcom, and they are notoriously uncooperative, so that the Broadcom 4328 device is still not supportable in Linux. (I would recommend the Hawking to anyone who is having trouble with Broadcom Wireless devices. Wireless G is fast enough for most people who are not doing gaming.) The Acer Aspire one, with a built-in Atheros Wireless G adapter worked immediately.
I have no reason to doubt that I will continue to be satisfied with the Intellinet router in service, but the company has to get its act together and at least inform buyers about defective versions of the firmware. Even now I can not figure out how I would have learned what needed to be done without the consultant's help.
