But my wife was having recurring intermittent troubles with her Dell desktop purchased with an n connection. After a brief trial with my MSI Wireless-LAN USB 2.0 Adapter on her machine, it didn't take much to convince her we should purchase one for her also. Haven't had any problems since. By the way, we both run xp.
