(More customer reviews)This device [WUSB54GSC] quit working after I got only 30 minutes worth of internet. Rebooting computer or router did no good. Icon no longer shows up on the task bar, or in the control panels. History: This device has been laying around over two years. Have spent many hours in recent days, trying to get it to talk to a linksys router from a Windows XP computer. The latest attempt involved searching for updated drivers at the cisco/linksys website. They give you download options for a v.1 or v.2. Had no idea what version this device was, as there is no indication on the label. So I tried v.1 -- at least it is more recent than the software that came in the package. Had to skip around the usual XP baloney: Can not install this software, because the driver for this device is already installed. Removed the old driver software, rebooted XP, installed the new driver software, rebooted XP. Used the "secure and easy setup" option to connect to the router, and wham, I get a confirmation message with an SSID and a passcode. Stayed connected long enough to update Windows XP with about 22 different patches (this machine has been off-line for about 6 months now), then got the latest iTunes. Rebooted a couple times, with no problem. Internet connection suddenly dropped while browsing iTunes store. As I mentioned before, rebooting did no good, as now XP does not even show the device in the control panels.
