Virgin Mobile Broadband2Go Wireless USB Adapter - Black (VMMC76NTKIT160) Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This device is a very fast (Sprint Network) and economical way to get onto the mobile internet without having to get locked into an expensive contract. Make sure you check your account each month that you use it though. I caught them skimming MB off my account. When I contacted them on it, they gave me a $10 credit to cover what they had taken from me, but made no apologies for it occurring. If you opt for this type of service, I strongly recommend that you add your usage history to your "remaining MB" a few times a month to ensure you are getting what you pay for. The month I caught them, I had used 138 MB in my history and they showed me having 98 remaining for a total of 236 vice the 300 I had paid for. It took three e-mails, and over an hour on the phone with a "technician" to get a $10 credit out of them to make up for it. Not the sort of thing that would happen with Verizon or another first tier carrier.
Now that they have gone to an "Unlimited Plan" at $40 a month, I am upgrading this to 5 stars. You can't beat the deal on this and my previous customer service issue is negated with this new pricing tier.
$40 a month for unlimited internet, and the ability to turn it off during the months that you don't use it, is a great deal. Because of my overall positive experience with this company, despite the problem I mentioned above, I have switched both our cell phones and our mobile data to them. I now pay $90 a month ($25 + $25 + $40) for what would cost $200+ a month from VZ or ATT.
